A Very Noble Pearl

The reason I separated from Judge Shams ad-Din was that he would not teach me. He said, "I don't want to be ashamed before God. You are just as God created you - the dust and the man - and He has created you beautifully. I cannot make God's creatures ugly. I see a very noble pearl. I cannot put an engraving on this pearl.
