I Have No Addition To God

There was a young fellow who was in awe and admiration of the Exalted Mevlana, spending his nights in spiritual conversation with Him in his dreams.
He took on so much of Mevlana's attitude that his friends used to gather around him and listened to his talks.
This news spread around Konya and people began to wonder from whom he had learned these beautiful things; how he had attained such a state.
Mevlana found out where the young man lived; one day came and knocked on his door. The fellow had so completely taken on the character of Mevlana, without letting anybody else get up, he himself opened the door. He was amazed to see Rumi right there in front of him. They hugged each other in delight, then he invited Mevlana to his place and had him sit down. Mevlana said;
- Continue whatever you were talking about, I'll listen.
The young man sat in silent medidation for five minutes and then began to talk. Rumi sat quietly and listened. After a while young man asked;
-Dear Master, how do you find our talk?
 Mevlana;
-I have no addition to God!
Mevlana saw everything as it should be; the young fellow was speaking enlightening truths, so Mevlana left him to carry on...(to be continued)
