Don't Sleep!

Mevlana was a guest at someone's house; they sat and talked, ate dinner and performed their evening worship. The host spread out the beds and invited Mevlana to lie down. Mevlana answered;
-You go ahead and rest; I'll pray a bit longer; I'm not sleepy.
The host got into bed as Mevlana suggested but couldn't rest; thinking of he had left Mevlana and gotten into bed. He couldn't sleep and watched Mevlana from where he laid. Rumi spent the night with praying and worshiping. In the morning the fellow asked;
-Oh, Mevlana! I feel very bad; you didn't sleep the whole night. Why didn't you?
-The entire world was sleeping; what would become of the world, İf I sleep too?...
The prophets did not spend the whole night sleeping, the saints didn't too. They were always at service; working on something for the community!(to be continued)
