Tricks, Trials And Patience

How happy for the one who meets life’s bringings with courage, patience and tolerance, who is hardworking, ambitious and compassionate, who likens himself to soil. Who always says constructive, unifying words. This person is dressed in the absence, so he dies before he dies and he has been awarded with the resurrection.
Sometimes the beloved one plays tricks with the loved one, he gives him grief, he tests him in all sorts of ways. The reason is to distinguish the real lover from the one who is not in love. He demands pure lovers. He alienates the one that is blown away like leaves in the wind. Therefore the best friend of love is patience… If you knock God’s door with patience, determination and enthusiasm, that door opens up for you.
We are in the earth life – one of the divinity rings. We know that this world is a place of test and purification, it is nothing but a dream; we come here, fill our time and go back to the God. The mistakes, difficulties to be fallen, pain and suffering are all parts of this test. Thus one should patiently welcome whatever happens.
Patience is one of God’s attributes. He has unlimited patience against what went wrong in the world. We should gain this morality in our thoughts, our words and behaviour. Striking back, falling into rebellion, to rein oneself in sadness, they all prevent us from purification.
Today people think that their lives turn upside down, even in the slightest vibration. The patient person is meant to be in consent with God if he can remove the expectations from his heart and leave aside his own mind and measures. In that case he consents the God’s will and he accepts whatever comes without any objection. He is neither delighted with wealth nor complains of poverty. His manners and behavior does not change with whatever comes or goes. He remains silent even against things that don’t fit into his nature. Speaking-less travels together with patience.
One must not forget that it requires great effort to gain the morality of our Prophet. Our Prophet (Mohammad) had never complained of any kind of suffering or persecution he had faced during the period he lived, he had persevered and moreover he had inspired to be patient even to the ones who fell into rebellion in order to defend him.
For this reason shall we stand against the desires of the self, and be patient without any complaints. It is not possible for us to refuse the trouble and accident that happens. Then what we will change is how we are going to meet that trouble. Remaining silent against whatever comes, opens the eye of the heart; talking much, throws the heart in the dark. Both the patience and faith of the one who remains silent is strong. Imprinting the affection of our Prophet to the heart, to defeat our selves and becoming a wisher and suitor to the God, to show patience and consent to whatever comes from Him, make us closer to Him step by step. The curtains are removed one by one, two by two, sometimes much faster; you come face to face. Then your journey is completed in the position(rank) of eternal life, eternal love, eternal peace and happiness.
As Hazrat Ali commands: “O mankind! Turn your eyes away from the earth, show patience against suffering and oppression. Earth is nothing but a snapshot in time. Always head towards the God.”
