Love Without A Touch Of Intellect
There are many examples of the metaphors on Love. Mecnun wanted to write a letter to Leyla- he took a piece of paper and a pen and started to write; “My heart is One, my tongue recites only Love, every last part of me is wrapped in You, nothing is left in me other than You, so then, who am I writing this letter to?”
Love completely took Mecnun’s identity. Only the Beloved was left in him. When Hz. Mohammed voyaged to God it was not with the angel Gabriel, it was with passionate Divine Love. What is the meaning of this kind of love?
It is a Burning Love, a Love without a touch of intellect.
