Don't Be A Drop
“From whom do we escape? From ourselves? Something that cannot happen! From whom do we bear off? From God? A vain toil.” If we manage to clear duality away from ourselves and go on a neat life together with behaviours deserving to God, then all Its beauties will emerge and we will get the taste of being “One” that cannot be satiated.
Do not be a drop, work and become the ocean. When a human, being a raindrop, falls down to the earth, can you separate that drop from the earth? You cannot separate it. Why? It is, because it converts into the earth! Can you separate it from the sea, when it falls down to the sea? You cannot separate it, since it becomes sea! We, also, have thrown ourselves into the sea; -if God wishes- we would become sea.
“At Its presence, there cannot be two ‘I’s, two ‘I’s cannot fit into there. You say ‘I am’ and It says ‘I am’. You must die before It or It must die before you, so that duality disappears. Nevertheless God does not die, this is impossible. It would die in neither external world nor in mind, because ‘It is an alive that would never die.’ To get rid of duality It would die for you, if it was possible. It has, also, such a blessing. Seeing that it is impossible for It to die, you die and It will appear on you, then duality disappears.”
