“Just as fire eats wood up easily, jeaolusy either sweeps away kindness.”
Shams of Tabrizi tells Dear Rumi: “Thanks to His grace, God of my invocation grabbed my mind. If you are whole, if you are pure soufi a door will be opened for you, and, countenance of Him will be disclosed to you. The aim of this of oneness (tawhid) is to attain your desires. What you see is His own essence, not anything else."
Shams of Tabrizi knows it, self-esteem will cease. Even if all world was ruined, God would be eternal. Shams of Tabrizi says if you are If you are whole, if you are pure soufi... What does it mean? For example, even if there is a sparkle in the brasier, it will prevent you from arriving where you want to reach. Let even that sparkle become ash. You should not have even a drop of inclination anywhere else except for your murshid (Spritual Guide). You are a new-born in front of him. From now on, He is your mother, your father, your prophet, your god and your beloved. A follower of a Murshid should set out in this way in order to reach where he likes to be.
After purifying himself, he’ll be able to see God in so many different countenances. It is God who embellishes the world. Sometimes He wears a cardigan, sometimes grows a beard, so that disguises. All beauties and pretty faces are adorned with Him. If He unveils His countenance, the sky and the earth will come away. As Shams of Tabrizi states, the order of the world will be ruined, rule will be destroyed then.
Therefore, our path is the path of becoming / being human. It requires purity and trueness. Exalted Rumi says: Everything has an undefiled side, which has left its name to the world as a sediment. Whoever has a habit of eating soil, he adheres to the sediment. A mystic at once goes near to the pure one. He thinks that sediment has also a clear side, surely; so the heart reaches the purity. While the sediment is difficult, clarity is easiness. Refinement (Pureness) resembles a date palm, whereas sediment resembles a raw date palm. Difficulty and easiness is together, behave yourself, do not lose your hope. There is a way to life after death. Son, if you want to relax, tear your gown so that the purity can raise its head. A mystic is the one who expects to attain the pureness.”
 People threw their bodies into the fire in order to possess some wealth, to have benefits. The night became appear for they could free from their ambition, as God’s mercy and grace. If you want to see Prophet Muhammad, you should not see your self; but should be in devotion. Nights are rich in spirituality. Lovers of God are with their Beloved in nights.
