Being A Devoted Lover Of The Divine

Love keeps someone burning. A lover never falls into carelessness. 

We are here to train and discipline our 'nefs', not to throw it out. It will be with us until our last breath for sure. The nefs wants many things, if you discipline it, there would be no problem. Everything is in your hands. The nefs is never satisfied, always fears of starving. The best discipline is to leave it always half satisfied. If you give everything it wants, it becomes unmanageable. If someone eats too much, in ten to fifteen minutes he feels heavy and gets sleepy. When you are in love, you can't eat much. Love keeps someone burning. A lover never falls into carelessness. There is a big diference between looking at this path intellectually, finding it beautiful and being in love, being a devoted lover of the Divine.
