There is no such a thing as fate. God bestowed countless graces; the greatest of these is intelligence. If we use our intelligence properly and choose the right things to do, we gain advantage from almost everything. Not because we are lucky; it's because we choose the right thing to do. A guide would help you with that. On our path, it's the pure heart that matters only.
Mevlana said that when you want to make a decision, just listen carefully to your heart. The voice of the heart is above all other voices.
If you hear something good, act accordingly. The heart is the seat of unity. If you listen to your heart-beat closely, you'll hear "Al-lah, Al-lah..."
